The Town of Mansfield was  established in 1775 as part of the rich history of the Commonwealth of  Massachusetts. Mansfield is a 35 minute drive from the cobblestone  streets of Boston. Today we continue to serve our citizens in new and innovative ways.

The Mansfield township is situated on Fords Creek, in a pretty valley, surrounded by the foothills of the Great Dividing Range, and is near the north-eastern tip of Lake Eildon.  It has a good range of local services and facilities, with the locally-based Mansfield Shire Council as the local government body.
