West Yorkshire window’s Perfect Fit blind system is a unique product that allows a variety of blind types to be fitted to double glazed windows and doors, without the need to drill, screw frames or surrounding plasterwork. They integrate fully within the window or door, allowing the blind to work as one with the opening, ensuring the ideal combination of shade with ventilation.

With our Perfect Fit Pleated Blinds, there are no holes created so the blinds fit better, look better and work better.

Perfect Fit Blinds

As Conservatories have so many windows and doors, traditional blinds would result in hundreds of holes being drilled and screwed into this expensive investment. Not only can we do Pleated blinds, but we can also do Roller blinds with the same Perfect Fit system. All of our fabrics are available with both the Pleated and the Roller blind system.

If you would like us to quote you for Pleated or Roller blinds, then please click here, to fill out our online quotaion form.

Sir/Madam

I am writing to say thanks for the great service we have received from West Yorkshire Windows.

Colin the salesman was courteous, knowledgeable about the uPVC double glazing, and not pressurising at all, his honesty and lack of pushiness surprised my husband and myself, after stories we had heard about other companies.

The surveyor and arranging the survey was easy, the fitting of our new uPVC windows was arranged quickly and all the times and dates kept to.

Your window fitters, when they fit our energy efficient windows recently, were hard working, kept the house clean and the windows looked great.  A small scratch on 1 of the double glazed units was noted and the fitter immediately arranged for a replacement unit.  Again there was no chasing up needed I was contacted promptly and the fitting arranged at a mutually convenient time.  Again the maintenance man was polite, respectful and worked hard.

All in all I would just like to say what a pleasure it has been to work with such a professional company with excellent standards and service from start to finish, thank you.

We will certainly recommend you to others and wish you every success in the future.

Yours sincerely

One of the most challenging decisions you will need to make after buying a home or when embarking on a home improvement strategy is deciding on the style of your replacement windows and doors. Everybody wants an attractive and aesthetically pleasing home and the right double glazing windows and doors can go a long way to achieving this. Before undertaking any interior or exterior design project, you must first outline the major products that you require. You should look around and decide which styles you like and what materials you think will be best suited for you, as well as considering issues related to cost and maintenance.

A variety of attractive double glazing windows and doors are available on the market for relatively inexpensive prices. Traditionally windows and doors for residential properties have been manufactured using wood but recent trends have indicated a shift towards PVC windows. These PVC windows, doors and conservatories provide a great finish and have many advantages over the traditional wooden frames. You can also choose between casement or sash windows depending in the style of your home.

Features of double glazed windows

  • Double glazing windows are internally beaded windows where the glass is held from the inside and are considered more secure than traditional wooden framed windows.
  • Most PVC windows and PVC doors are multi-walled with internal reinforcements made from either aluminum or galvanized steel.
  • Frames are available in a variety of different colours. The standard colour for PVC windows and doors is white although there are various colour options and wood effect windows available.
  • PVC windows are much better for insulation purposes and have proven to be much more energy efficient.
  • Double glazing windows are also much stronger and have many additional security features to protect your home from intruders.

West Yorkshire Windows based in Leeds and Wakefield manufactures high quality PVC windows and doors with all these added features and many are available with special discounts and promotional offers. West Yorkshire Windows specialise in the design and installation of the latest energy efficient ‘A’ Rated double glazing PVC windows, doors, bespoke conservatories and orangeries. Providing helpful and expert advice for free and without any obligation to buy.

We built our new Orangery in the Wakefield Conservatory Showroom in December 2008. It was launched (completed) at the end of January. Since then we have sold over 20 new bespoke Orangeries to our customers throughout Yorkshire.

Orangeries really are a great way to extend your home and add valuable extra light. When you are sat in a uPVC Orangery, you feel like you are in a ‘proper’ room in your home.

What do we use to build it?
We build it with brick or stone pillars, uPVC windows, uPVC doors and a uPVC Conservatory roof. It can be glazed with Toughened Double Glazing to the frames and 35mm Polycarbonate to the roof. The conservatory in our Wakefield Showroom has our Solaris – Heat reflecting Polycarbonate in it. Solaris Polycarbonate can reflect up to 85% of the suns heat, make you conservatory or Orangery much more comfortable to sit in.

How much Do they cost?
There are 2 main things that make an Orangery more expensive. Firstly, the internal Pelmet detail adds extra cost, but the main thing is the time on site. It’s much more labour intensive to build a new Orangery than it is to build a new Conservatory

Why mot visit our Wakefield Or Leeds Conservatory Showroom today.

Dear Andrew,

We would like to say thank you for the superb conservatory.  Please pass our thanks on to everyone involved – the builders, fitters, electrician.

From the first visit to your showroom to the conservatory being completed everyone has been very professional and friendly.

We are thrilled to bits!

West Yorkshire Windows are celebrating our 15th Birthday this month.

We have been fitting quality conservatories, windows and doors since the early nineties. The company was started by brother’s Matthew and Andrew glover in 1994, working from a small shop in Middlestown.

We are now one of the largest installers of uPVC Conservatories, uPVC Double Glazing, uPVC French Doors and http://www.westyorkshirewindows.co.uk/upvc_compositedoors.php in Yorkshire and have recently added uPVC Orangeries to our portfolio.

We would like to thank all of our very valued customers for there support over the years and promise to continue the good work for years to come.

West Yorkshire Windows are delighted to announce a host of special offers designed to beat the credit crunch and blitz the cold winter weather for anyone looking to buy any of their conservatories, orangeries, windows or doors throughout the Bradford, Barnsley, Castleford, Doncaster, Halifax, Huddersfield, Leeds, Pontefract, Sheffield and Wakefield areas.

A spokesperson from West Yorkshire Windows made this statement last week;
“We are determined to make sure that people are given the best chance possible to remain energy efficient and safe in their homes, in spite of the recent economic conditions that have coupled with the rise in fuel costs over recent years.”

Examples of the offers being made by West Yorkshire Windows include.
- 12 Months interest Free on all conservatories
- 12 Months interest Free on all windows and doors.
- 123 Guarantee on all conservatories and glazing products.

Anybody wishing to take advantage of the offer on conservatories and placing their order this month will also receive some fabulous discounts and free add-ons. So there are many things to feel good about with Planet South Lakes at the moment.

What is the 1-2-3 Guarantee?
West Yorkshire Windows realise that, although most householders want to make their home more energy efficient and in the long term will potentially save thousands of pounds in energy costs by doing so, they also realise that for many people having new windows, doors or a conservatory fitted is an investment that needs to be carefully considered. This is why they have teamed up with the Conservatory Outlet to come up with the ingenious but simple 123 guarantee to give their customers not one, not two but three reasons to have peace of mind with their glazing investment.

Number 1 – £1000 Security
West Yorkshire Windows are so confident with a Conservatory Outlet installation that in the unlikely event of a break-in succeeding due to the failure of their products that they will pay you £500 for any inconvenience caused and pay the cost (up to £500) of replacing or repairing the forced window or door.

Number 2 – 10 Year Manufacturer’s Guarantee
Deposit indemnity insurance is automatically included in your contract for no additional cost. This means that all Conservatory Outlet supplied products, including window frames and hardware, will have a 10 year manufacturer guarantee in addition to your dealer’s standard guarantee. This covers you for any remedial works that may be required after the installation of your products is complete.

Number 3 – Insurance Backed Guarantee
Conservatory Outlet dealers also offer a separate insurance backed guarantee. Your local dealer will be able to give you more information on which insurance Backed Guarantee scheme they can offer you. Separate insurance guarantees are regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) who is the independent watchdog that regulates financial services.
