It was an extremely busy July for the team at West Yorkshire Windows.
The final touches continue to be applied to our brand new Penistone showroom and we found the time to exhibit at two local events; The Kirkstall Festival and The Great Yorkshire Show.
The 2015 Kirkstall Festival was our first stop where we showcased our stunning windows, conservatories and orangeries on Saturday 11th July in the stunning grounds of Kirkstall Abbey.
Run by volunteers, it is the largest community festival held in Leeds and regularly attracts around 25,000 people.
Then just a few days later we headed for the 158th Great Yorkshire Show, the largest agricultural show in England, which took place at the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate.
Staged between 14th-16th July, the exhibition is organised by the Yorkshire Agricultural Society and celebrates farming and country life.
A whopping 132,131 people attended across the three days meaning that our stand was a hive of activity with plenty interest expressed in our products.
Both exhibitions were a superb opportunity for us to get out and meet new and existing customers as we love face-to-face interaction with people. We were overwhelmed by the response.
Speaking of our new Penistone showroom, we are looking to recruit subcontracted building teams who can build conservatory/orangery bases to meet with demand at the new site.
