A solid roof replacement for your conservatory enables you to breathe new life into your old conservatory.
The majority of solid conservatory roofs we install are for old, existing conservatories that are no longer used because they have lost their thermal efficiency. Featuring the very latest, most durable materials, a new conservatory replacement roof will increase your home’s energy efficiency; thereby reducing your energy bills and saving you money.
Understanding the need to replace a roof as quickly and easily as possible, we ensure each conservatory roof replacement is created using the renowned Guardian Warm Roof ™ or UltraRoof systems. These revolutionary systems are designed to remove an old roof and replace it with a modern, solid roof while still retaining your original windows, doors, frames, and walls.
A roofing system that will reunite you with your conservatory...
With every passing year since buying your conservatory, you may have found yourself using it less and less, but not necessarily out of choice. It could be because it isn’t warm enough anymore or gets too hot. That’s no reason to abandon the extension though as you can always have the original polycarbonate or glass roof removed and replaced with a Guardian Warm Roof. The installation of a Warm Roof will restore temperature control back to how it needs to be and modernise the structure.
There aren’t many local authorities in the country that haven’t given the Guardian Warm Roof their seal of approval as they recognise that it’s a quality roofing system. Constructed using a pre-engineered lightweight frame, it also comes with two layers of rigid insulation board, an internal insulated plasterboard, exterior grade plywood and a vapour membrane. You won’t have to ever again worry about your conservatory overheating or becoming icy cold as the Guardian Warm Roof will continuously provide the ideal internal temperature.

The UltraRoof is one of the world’s leading roofing systems...
No glass or polycarbonate roof in the world comes close to the UltraRoof in terms of what it can do for conservatories and orangeries. One of the lightest conservatory roofing systems in existence, it won’t be added to your extension until it has been determined whether the current windows and doors can cope with its weight. In the event of the windows and doors needing to be replaced, there is a chance that we might not have to change the existing base. Any new windows and doors will be as in keeping with the conservatory as the UltraRoof itself. If anything else needs modifying, West Yorkshire Windows will attend to it.

Buying one of our solid roofs will be tremendously beneficial...
You will feel an immediate difference inside your extension from the moment a Guardian Warm Roof or UltraRoof has been fitted. They are both weatherproof replacement roof systems, so you won’t notice any negative change in temperature in the structure, even when the weather outside is particularly bad. Adding either of these roofs will also enhance the appearance of the conservatory, thanks to the pretty tiles and slates.
We often find that a new roof can be integrated into an extension without the need for any windows and doors to be replaced due to how lightweight our roofing systems are. The Guardian Warm Roof and UltraRoof are two of the finest roofing solutions to be found in Britain and they can accommodate Velux windows, roof vents and ambient lighting.

Apply a stylish finish to our already elegant roofing systems...
The tiles and slates make the exterior of the Guardian Warm Roof and UltraRoof hugely attractive, and their interior can also be prettied up. Just coat them with one of our internal finishes, such as our timeless painted plasterboard. We get a lot of Guardian Warm Roof buyers asking for a timber clad ceiling so that they can accomplish a ‘cabin-style’ feel in their extension, which most comes into its own during the winter.

Two types of tiles that are both brilliantly lifelike...
You will scarcely believe how realistic the tiles and slates are on both the Guardian Warm Roof and UltraRoof. They have all the hallmarks of real tiles and slates, except that these faux tiles and slates are completely weatherproof, lighter and crack-resistant. They will also prove far less troublesome than genuine tiles and slates.
Lightweight Tile - Our lightweight tiles could hardly be more different to traditional tiles, particularly in terms of their weight. They are also weatherproof, which is why they are tailor-made for conservatories, orangeries, porches and most other extensions. We would suggest that you try and match the tiles to the tiles you currently have on the roof of your home, choosing between our red, umber, ebony, green and charcoal finishes.
Lightweight Slate - If you would prefer a slate conservatory roof, you’re in luck. Our lightweight slate roofs again share a visual likeness to traditional slates and are available in stone black, pewter grey, plum, brick red and chestnut brown.

The colour of a Guardian Warm Roof is one of its highlights...
If we were in your shoes, we would select a colour for the Guardian Warm Roof that’s a close match for any tiles already present at your home. We offer five separate colour options, including red, grey and brown. The tiles themselves are super-resilient and feel very much like stone-coated steel. There is an alternative to the tiles in the shape of our lightweight slates. They come in grey, black and red.

The UltraRoof’s polymer tiles can resist the ageing process...
We have a simple explanation for insisting on the use of polymer slates for the UltraRoof and it’s because they retain heat so well. When first exposed to these slates you would think they are real traditional slates as they have the same peaks and plateauxs. Installed 12 polymer slates at a time, we can have the UltraRoof up and running in no time at all, and the slates come in any of three coloured finishes.
The three finishes are carbon grey, terra brick and harvest brown. Every one of them will give the UltraRoof an aesthetic quality that you just don’t get with most other modern roofing systems. We fasten the various facets of the UltraRoof with ridge caps, and they also come in a choice of colours. There are two kinds of ridge cap – an ‘armadillo’ style ridge cap and contemporary ridge cap. We also offer coloured tints for the glass panels within the system.
